Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce

  • 2 cups Pasta (whole grain or regular) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce

Proteins

  • 1 pound Chicken breast or ground turkey Sauté until browned.

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Vegetables (like carrots, peas, or broccoli) Can mix and match based on preference.

Extras

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 1/2 cup Cheese (optional) Sprinkle on top after cooking.
  • to taste Herbs (basil, oregano, or parsley)
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to taste.

Preparation

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain it well and set it aside.
  • In a skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped chicken or turkey and sauté until it’s nicely browned.
  • Toss in the vegetables and sauté them alongside the meat until they are just tender.

Final Mixing

  • Stir in the tomato sauce along with the cooked pasta. Mix everything together, then season with the herbs, salt, and pepper to elevate the flavors.
  • If you’d like, sprinkle cheese on top and stir until it’s delightfully melted.

Serving

  • Serve warm and enjoy the smiles!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze in containers for up to three months.
