  • 3 large eggs

Frosting and Filling

  • 1 cup strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup whipped cream For frosting
  • Red food coloring (optional) For a blood effect
  • Chocolate shavings For frosting fangs

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the cupcake mix instructions.
  • In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cupcake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well combined.

Baking

  • Bake the cupcakes according to the package instructions.
  • Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely.

Hollowing and Filling

  • Use a small knife or a cupcake corer to carve out a small hollow in the center of each cooled cupcake.
  • Fill the hollow with strawberry puree, allowing it to seep down for extra flavor.

Frosting and Decorating

  • Frost the cupcakes generously with whipped cream, covering the top completely.
  • Use chocolate shavings to create fang shapes on top of the frosting.
  • Optional: Mix a few drops of red food coloring into the strawberry puree before filling the cupcakes for a realistic ‘blood’ effect.
