  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it's bubbling gently.
  • Add the diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high, add the cubed chicken, and cook until nicely browned.
  • Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream along with the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Let everything simmer for about 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  • Before serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Serve the butter chicken over rice or mashed potatoes and pair with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. For fun twists, try using shrimp or adding fresh spinach to the sauce.
