Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound beef, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for sautéing
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing them until fragrant.
  • Then, toss in the marinated beef, cooking it until browned all over.
  • Add the sliced bell pepper, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until it's tender.
  • Gently mix in the drained noodles, stir-frying everything together for a few minutes.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and top it off with the chopped green onions just before serving.

Notes

For extra tenderness in your beef, slice against the grain. If short on time, use pre-cooked noodles to save a step. Allow beef to marinate for the best flavor.
