Ingredients
  

Biscuit Base

  • 1 can refrigerated flaky biscuits (8 count)

Filling

  • 3/4 cup cooked shrimp, chopped Ensure shrimp is fully cooked and chopped.
  • 3/4 cup lump crab meat Use fresh or thawed crab meat.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened Soften before mixing.
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped Use for flavor and garnish.
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • On a baking sheet, slightly flatten each biscuit to form a base.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab, mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

Assembly and Baking

  • Spoon the filling onto half of the flattened biscuits. Place the other half on top and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Press down lightly to ensure they stick, then brush the tops with melted butter.
  • Bake on the baking sheet for 13–15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Let the melts rest for about 2 minutes before slicing or serving whole.

Notes

These melts can be served as appetizers or paired with a salad for a light meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
