  • 1 package prosciutto Thinly sliced
  • 12 oz mozzarella balls Consider cutting in half for easier wrapping
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil Optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Open the package of prosciutto and gently separate the slices; lay them flat.
  • Drain the mozzarella balls and remove excess liquid. If necessary, cut them in half.
  • Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each mozzarella ball until fully enclosed.
  • Repeat for all mozzarella balls.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper; stir until fragrant, then remove from heat.
  • Brush each prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bite with the seasoned olive oil mixture.
  • Arrange bites on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy and golden.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, sprinkle with fresh basil if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 5-7 minutes.
