  • 1 package Potstickers Use frozen or fresh potstickers.
  • 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Bok choy, chopped Can substitute with other greens.
  • 4 cups Broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced Use fresh ginger for a better taste.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 scallions Chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the potstickers and cook according to package instructions.

Cooking

  • Once the potstickers are cooked, add sliced mushrooms and bok choy.
  • Simmer until the mushrooms are tender.
  • Stir in soy sauce and season with salt to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped scallions before serving.

Notes

For serving, ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with chopped scallions. This dish pairs well with steamed rice or crispy spring rolls. Extra soy sauce or chili oil can be offered for customization.
