Ingredients
  

For the cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute for crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the topping

  • 1 package peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can substitute for white chocolate chips.
  • 1 cup chopped peanuts

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, peanut butter, milk, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  • Spread half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, creating an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, and chopped peanuts evenly over the batter.
  • Cover the toppings with the remaining cake batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle chocolate sauce for added richness. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for about a week. To reheat, microwave for 15-30 seconds.
