Filling Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef Can substitute for ground turkey or plant-based alternatives.
  • 1 oz taco seasoning One package.
  • 10 oz diced tomatoes and green chiles Keep undrained.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Consider pepper jack for a spicy kick.
  • 8 oz ranch dressing Can be swapped for a taco-flavored dip for extra kick.

Phyllo Shells

  • 75 pieces frozen phyllo tart shells 5 packages of 15 count each.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink. Drain any fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and chiles, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese with ranch dressing, then fold in the cooked taco meat mixture.
  • Spoon the mixture into the frozen phyllo tart shells.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes for thawed shells, or 10-13 minutes for frozen.

Notes

Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can freeze uncooked filled phyllo tarts for later use.
