  • 2 pieces chicken breasts You can substitute with thighs for richer flavor.
  • 2 cups egg noodles Feel free to swap for whole grain or gluten-free noodles.
  • 3 tablespoons butter Divided into melting and seasoning.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For an aromatic kick.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low sodium if preferred.
  • to taste Parsley For garnish, optional.

Preparation

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  • Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until they reach al dente texture.
  • Once the noodles are ready, mix in the remaining butter until it melts and coats the noodles beautifully.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and serve it on top of the buttered noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the microwave or gently in a pan with chicken broth to maintain moisture. Consider adding fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
