Preparation

  • Place mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into a mixing bowl. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
  • Spoon the final mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

Notes
