  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 whole lemon Zested and juiced.
  • 2 whole eggs Beaten.

  • Oil for frying Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking Use as necessary.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if you choose to bake.
  • In a bowl, blend the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
  • Dip each chicken tender in the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully covered, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until well-coated.

Cooking

  • For frying, heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the tenders until golden.
  • If baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and cooked through.

Serving

  • Pair with your favorite dipping sauce or toss them on a fresh salad for an added crunch.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken in lemon juice for about 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
