Ingredients
  

Truffle Mixture

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream Use fresh cream for best results.
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons lime zest Fresh is best!
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Can substitute with milk chocolate if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Softened to room temperature.

Coating

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers For rolling or coating.

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice. Whisk until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate chips until completely smooth.
  • Add the softened butter to the chocolate and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the lime zest gently.
  • Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the melted chocolate until evenly blended.
  • Fold in the crushed graham crackers until well distributed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Forming Truffles

  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  • Place each truffle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.

Notes

For a creative twist, consider adding a dash of coconut flavor or rolling truffles in toasted coconut or dark chocolate.
