Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos: Gather your Oreo cookies and crush them in a food processor until they resemble fine crumbs.
  • Mix It Up: In a mixing bowl, blend the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and Irish cream liqueur. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  • Shape the Truffles: Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Once done, chill for at least 30 minutes to firm up the mixture.
  • Melt the Chocolate: While the truffles are chilling, melt the green chocolate melts according to package instructions until smooth.
  • Coat the Truffles: Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle Joy: Immediately sprinkle your holiday decorations on top while the chocolate is still wet, so they stick.
  • Final Chill: Finally, refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate is firm, then serve and enjoy!
