  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • Cooking spray For coating the air fryer basket

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, Greek yogurt, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon to form a dough.
  • Roll the dough into small bite-sized balls.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the dough balls in the basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

Cooking

  • Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • In a separate bowl, mix additional sugar and cinnamon.
  • Once the churro bites are done, immediately toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still warm.
  • Serve and enjoy your healthy churro bites!

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven for best results. Experiment with different coatings like vanilla or nutmeg for a personal twist.
