Ingredients
  

Dough and Fillings

  • 2 tubes crescent dough sheets
  • 1 pound deli-sliced ham
  • 8 sticks cheddar cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or pepper jack

Flavor Enhancements

  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon dried minced onion or onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by either greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the crescent dough sheets on a clean surface and cut each sheet into 4 equal pieces.
  • Distribute the deli-sliced ham evenly among the pieces of dough.
  • Place a cheddar cheese stick on top of the ham on each dough piece.
  • Fold in the ends of each piece and roll to seal them tightly.
  • Place the prepared sticks on your baking sheet.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried onion, and poppy seeds together.
  • Brush this flavorful butter mixture over each ham and cheese stick.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the sticks are golden brown and bubbling.
  • Enjoy hot and fresh!

Notes

Serve warm as an appetizer with dipping sauces like mustard or ranch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
