Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken Can be substituted with ground turkey.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use plain or Italian seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For garnish and flavor.

  • 1 unit egg Helps bind the ingredients.

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper To taste.
  • 1/4 cup milk Add more if the mixture is too dry.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and milk.
  • Mix everything until well combined—your hands work best for this!
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lined baking dish or on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
  • Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store any unused meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and consume within three months. Adding sautéed onions or bell peppers can enhance flavor, and cheese variations like mozzarella or feta can be used for twists.
