  • 1 bunch Fresh coriander leaves Thoroughly washed
  • 1 bunch Fresh mint leaves Thoroughly washed
  • 2 pcs Green chilies Adjust based on spice preference
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • to taste g Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Optional, for extra flavor
  • 1 inch Ginger Optional, for extra flavor

Preparation

  • Wash the fresh coriander and mint leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  • In a blender, combine the washed coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt.
  • Blend the mixture until it is smooth. If needed, add a little water to achieve your desired consistency.
  • For an extra layer of flavor, you can include cumin seeds and ginger in the blender before mixing again.
  • Once blended, taste the chutney and adjust seasoning (like salt or lemon juice) as needed.
  • Transfer the chutney to a bowl and it’s ready to serve.

Notes

Store your Fruit Chutney in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Consider freezing in small portions for longer storage. Adjust thickness by varying the water during blending.
