Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon spice rub (like cayenne, paprika, or garlic powder) Customize according to preference
  • 2 servings ramen noodles Can substitute with soba or udon noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For searing chicken
  • to taste green onions for garnish
  • to taste red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with your chosen spice rub.
  • In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sear each side of the chicken for about 6-8 minutes, or until it's fully cooked. Once done, remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Cooking Noodles

  • In a separate pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.

Making the Sauce

  • In another pan, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Heat this mixture over low until it's warmed through, stirring frequently to blend flavors.

Assembling the Dish

  • When the noodles are ready, divide them into bowls and ladle the simmering broth over the top.
  • Top with slices of the seared chicken and drizzle the rich creamy garlic sauce on top.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of green onions and red pepper flakes, if desired. Enjoy hot!

Notes

Best enjoyed with sides like cucumber salad or crispy tempura vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for about 3-4 days. Reheat on the stove over low heat with added chicken broth, if necessary.
