Pasta and Sauce Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta Any pasta shape that holds sauce well.
  • 1 jar marinara sauce Store-bought or homemade.

Cheese and Toppings

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Divided into two portions.
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Can substitute with sausage or vegetables for variations.
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped Any color of bell pepper works.
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped Yellow or white onion recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Add more for extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, making sure it’s evenly spread out.
  • Top the dish with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For creamier texture, consider adding ricotta cheese. Experiment with different cheese varieties for added flavor.
