Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 packet gravy mix your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 1 cup potatoes diced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, combine the gravy mix with chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully covered.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Serving

  • Shred the chicken in the gravy if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, rice, or homemade biscuits. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
