Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan thoroughly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until fluffy.
  • Incorporate the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until you have a smooth mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until fully integrated.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan, smoothing it out evenly.
