Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Brush each cod fillet with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Take each cod fillet and coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to help it adhere to the fish.
  • Arrange the coated cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.

Cooking

  • Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of sides such as roasted vegetables or a green salad.

Notes

For better coating adherence, pat the cod fillets dry before applying olive oil. If you enjoy a spicier flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
