  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup broccoli florets optional for added nutrition
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain it well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, broccoli (if you’re using it), and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Season this mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the combined ingredients into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and the Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in your preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Once out of the oven, allow to cool slightly and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Best served with a fresh green salad or garlic bread. For storage, let cool before transferring to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to three days or freeze for three months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
