For the toppings

  • 2 tbsp toffee bits
  • 1 tbsp peanuts, chopped Can be substituted with your favorite nuts.
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, chopped Can be omitted for nut allergies.
  • Apples (for dipping) Choose crisp varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the caramel dip for 15-second intervals until it is warm and pourable.

Assembly

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of your serving dish.
  • Pour the warm caramel over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly across the top.
  • Sprinkle the toffee bits, chopped peanuts, and walnuts over the caramel layer.
  • Cut fresh apples into wedges for dipping, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Return to room temperature before serving or gently reheat the caramel if it solidifies. Customize toppings as per your liking.
