Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure it's sufficiently softened for mixing.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional chopped pecans or orange zest For topping.

For the Base

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a mini muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it. Cut each triangle in half to form smaller triangles.
  • Press one triangle into each muffin cup, ensuring to cover the bottom and sides.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce on top.
  • If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or grated orange zest.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 11–13 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  • Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm them in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
