  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Whole wheat breadcrumbs can be used for a healthier option.
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 large egg For a vegan option, use a flax egg or breadcrumbs soaked in milk for binding.
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste salt
  • Pepper to taste pepper

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish fresh parsley Use as a garnish before serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onion, egg, milk, and a dash of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs evenly, ensuring they are all well-coated.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving and enjoy warm as an appetizer.

Notes

Leftover meatballs can be stored in the fridge for three days or frozen for later enjoyment. Reheat at 350°F until heated through.
