Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Slightly warm but not too hot
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs Can substitute with flax eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Consider dark chocolate for richer flavor
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (for swirling)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and cocoa powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Spoon dollops of peanut butter on top of the batter and use a knife to swirl gently.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer. For creative twists, try different chip flavors or add nuts.
