Preparation

  • Start by cooking the egg noodles as per the package instructions; once done, drain them and set them aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet, cooking until they’re golden brown and fully cooked—approximately 7 to 8 minutes on each side. Once done, take the chicken out and let it rest before slicing it.
  • In the same skillet, pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, adding the minced garlic. Sauté until it’s fragrant—this shouldn’t take long!
  • Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet, ensuring they’re well coated in the buttery sauce.
  • Finally, plate the noodles topped with slices of chicken and a sprinkling of chopped parsley for that fresh touch.

Notes

For variation, consider using whole wheat noodles or tofu for a vegetarian twist. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh garden salad.
