  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover chicken for quicker preparation.
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or your choice), shredded Feel free to switch to your favorite cheese.
  • 4 large tortillas Use flour or corn tortillas as preferred.
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped Iceberg or romaine works well.
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced Any variety of tomatoes can be used.
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing or your favorite sauce Substitute with buffalo sauce for a spicy twist.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, ranch dressing, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Lay out each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon the chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom up to encase all the filling.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted wonderfully.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Wrap leftovers in foil or an airtight container to keep fresh for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze un-toasted wraps tightly in plastic wrap and foil.
