  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 6 strips crispy bacon thick-cut bacon recommended for extra crispiness
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese can be swapped with other cheeses
  • 1 cup ranch dressing homemade or spicy variant can be used
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Season the chicken breasts with a sprinkle of salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain it on paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the ranch dressing and soy sauce until well combined.
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the prepared baking dish and drizzle half of the ranch mixture on top.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon over the chicken, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Before serving, drizzle the remaining ranch sauce on top for extra flavor.

Notes

Best served with a fresh garden salad or roasted vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
