Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Ensure well softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs Add one at a time while mixing.
  • 2 cups diced apples (preferably tart)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For a marbled effect.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Then, incorporate the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing in one egg at a time until fully combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top. Use a knife to swirl the sauce into the mixture for a marbled presentation.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bars are slightly set and golden on top.

Cooling

  • Allow the dessert to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled for the best experience.
