Mixing Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Can be replaced with dark or milk chocolate chips for variation.
  • 1/4 cup butter Melt over low heat.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Sprinkle on top for sweetness.

Preparation

  • Pop the popcorn kernels using an air popper or on the stove until fluffy.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Once melted, add the white chocolate chips and stir continuously until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, combine popped popcorn, red velvet cake mix, and salt.

Coating

  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the popcorn mixture and toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and mix again until evenly coated.
