Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey.
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed Can substitute with pinto beans.
  • 1 cup corn Fresh or frozen works great.
  • 1 cup cooked rice White or brown rice can be used.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Size should be suitable for burritos.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to your preference.

For serving (optional)

  • salsa A great topping.
  • sour cream Adds creaminess.
  • guacamole For flavor enhancement.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, draining excess fat.
  • Add black beans, corn, cooked rice, salt, and pepper. Stir until heated through and combined.

Assembly

  • Preheat another pan or griddle to medium heat for toasting burritos.
  • Lay a tortilla flat in the pan, spoon some meat mixture on one side, sprinkle cheese, and fold the tortilla over.
  • Cook until the tortilla is golden brown and cheese has melted. Remove from the pan and slice in half for serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating taco seasoning with the beef. To make burritos crunchier, sear them in oil after assembly.
