  • 4 pieces Crusty sub rolls Freshly baked rolls recommended
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese Can be substituted with Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices Zesty deli meats (salami, ham, pepperoni) Can substitute with turkey for a lighter option
  • 1 cup Fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, onions) Feel free to add more veggies as desired

Seasoning and Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Drizzle over sandwiches
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adjust to taste
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the sub rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Layer the provolone cheese and your choice of deli meats inside the rolls.
  • Add fresh veggies on top of the meats for extra crunch.
  • Drizzle the sandwiches lightly with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread turns golden brown.
  • Once done, allow them to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of crispy potato chips or a light salad. For extra flavor, consider serving alongside homemade marinara sauce for dipping.
