Ingredients
  

Chocolate and Cream Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate Chopped
  • 100 g milk chocolate Chopped
  • 100 ml Baileys Irish Cream For flavor
  • 100 ml heavy cream For melting chocolate

Coatings

  • Cocoa powder For rolling
  • Chocolate sprinkles For rolling
  • Crushed nuts or shredded coconut Optional for rolling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Chop the dark and milk chocolate, then place it into a mixing bowl.
  • In a saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream until it approaches a boil. Pour it over the chocolate.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for about a minute to soften, then stir until the chocolate is fully melted and silky.
  • Add in the Baileys Irish Cream and stir well until completely combined.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours, or until firm to the touch.

Rolling and Coating

  • Once firm, use a melon baller or a spoon to scoop out small portions and roll them into smooth balls.
  • Coat each ball in cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, or any optional toppings like crushed nuts or coconut.
  • Place your beautifully finished truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.

Notes

Leftover truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Truffles can be frozen and thawed in the fridge overnight before serving. Consider adding edible gold dust for a glamorous touch!
