  • ½ cup cooked bacon (crumbled) Turkey bacon can be used for a lighter version.
  • ½ cup milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Butter or cooking spray For greasing the dish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until distributed evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing gently.
  • Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour the quiche mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This quiche is versatile and can be served warm with a side salad or roasted vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze individual slices for later enjoyment.
